Graffiti Alphabet_090111

Enjoy September 2011's Graffiti Alphabet, by yours truly; Legend0187 =)

Key things to remember when drawing graffiti letters:

1. It doesn't take much to make a line; so sketch lightly.
2. Draw through the letter when sketching lightly and see to it that the pieces match up evenly with one another.
3. Sketch loosely and then go back in and darken your line, sketching too dark in the beginning will result in unnecessary eraser work and a super sloppy page.
4. Take your time to pull the lines when darkening them.
5. You can ink your pencil sketch if desired and then erase out the pencil off the page once the ink has dried.
6. Practice makes PERFECT PRACTICE! These are just my ideas of burner style graffiti letters based on what I have taken in from the craft over the many years. Feel free to experiment and create your own style of lettering. What I have tried to provide here is a base. I will be updating this with a new letter sheet in the near future. It's good practice to draw the graffiti alphabet and try to keep the letters basic, not getting too crazy with so much style.
